Ecem Ergücen
I was born in Kahramanmaraş as the first child of a family with two children. I grew up in a small town before I got my high school education. While I was continuing my university education, I did an internship at Ihlamur Mansion Nursing Home and Elderly Care Center for three months. I worked with autistic people in a special education center for two months. I took part in Atılım University's social responsibility projects and psychology community. During my university education, I completed my Psychodiagnostic tests, MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory) and REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy) training. I graduated from Atılım University Psychology Department in three years in 2018. After my graduation, I completed my Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training from Prof. Dr. Hakan Türkçapar. I received Family Counseling (450 hours) training and supervision at Uludağ University between 2017-2018. I was accepted to Üsküdar University Clinical Psychology Department for my master's education. While continuing my education, I started working as a psychologist in Assoc. Dr. Osman Yıldırım Obesity Surgery Clinic. While working on food addiction, I had the opportunity to work with many psychopathological issues. In 2019, I completed my internship at NP Istanbul Brain Hospital. I submitted my graduate project with the title "Psychological Problems After Bariatric Surgery". In 2020, I got the title of Specialist Clinical Psychologist. I still continue to see clients in my own clinic.
